Washington Cascades- Extended Weather

Issued July 23, 2014

Although it will be wet over much of the West Cascades today (7-23) forecast models suggest that an upper level ridge of high pressure will be over our region for much of the period through the end of July. Although we will have some brief periods that a trough of low pressure swings inland (like today) for some brief cooling and chances of precipitation. However much of the time temperatures will be above normal and precipitation below normal.
